Over the next two weeks, we need to accomplish a fairly impressive list of things:
Most of this is fairly clear and straightforward: you should sign up for conferences; you should review your work from last term with the idea that it represents an important part of your portfolio, that body of work that, unlike the diploma, actually shows what you know and what you can do; start reading and thinking; as you decide on your scanning projects, enter them on the list in the lab.
The group work is a little trickier. In an attempt to make this both rational and equitable, I propose setting up a number of project groups where, depending on the difficulty of the task, from one to three people take responsibility for the assembly and buffing work. We'll work this out in class.
