"Over the River and Through the Wood" - based on a poem by Lydia Maria Child (http://www.medford.org/History/book/)

This website is a "multidisciplinary, collaborative project" created by students at  Hobbs Middle School in Medford, Massachusetts.  Faculty advisor Cal Carpenter says, "In this on-line book, young Lydia tours through historic Medford and makes a life-changing decision to become an active abolitionist."
