Films of American Life
The City Native Land Power and the Land People of the Cumberland Valley Town

The Worker's Film and Photo League produced mostly newsreels during its existence, the bulk of which no longer exist. Nykino was more successful with its film production, releasing a few films such as Sunnyside and Black Legion, with several of its members working with Pare Lorentz on The Plow That Broke the Plains. However, there are some master productions from Frontier Films, some of which shall be presented and discussed on these pages. These films fall under two categories: domestic films depicting American life and productions of struggles overseas leading up to World War II.
