Educational Video Production

EVP at UVA involves producing individual video exercises and a final all-in-one project. The video exercises include: a B-Roll, an Interview, a Visual Essay, and a Demonstration. Editing of your footage is required using either analog editing (the old way) or digital editing software such as iMovie and Final Cut Pro. In addition to producing videos, outside films are watched and critiqued for effects, aesthetics, etc. View an example of such a film.

Digital Video as Publishing Technology

In Professor John Unsworth's ENTC 565 course students take an in-depth look at one technology of publishing. My project featured one of the most recent technologial advances, digital video. I produced and edited a brief example of what one can do with digital video using a digital 8 camera and the editing software Final Cut Pro. View "Marriage With a Twist."
