An NEH grant-funded project in development under the auspices of the American Folklore Society and the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress, the proposed thesaurus aims to serve cataloguers, indexers, and researchers of folklore-related information and materials by creating a standard vocabulary. Duties included researching and recommending thesaurus-making software, assisting in the execution of a survey of potential stakeholders in the thesaurus, and researching terms and scope notes for ultimate inclusion into the web-based thesaurus.

Coordinated, designed, and built The View From Here, a local history website designed to serve the classes of professors Brian Balogh of The Department of History and Phyllis Leffler of The Institute of Public History. Served as Graduate Assistant to Brian Balogh whose Viewing America site was the inspiration for The View From Here, both sites exploring history from 1945 to the present using primary documents and audio and visual materials. Responsibilities included scholarly research, video capture and digitizing, and updating information on Viewing America site database.

The View From Here project was turned over to new caretakers in Fall of 2001.

Developed search questions for CyberSafari (an internet treasure hunt) to draw participants to our site. Submitted websites to search engines.
