From the Astor description: "A ZUNI WOMAN BAKING POTTERY.  The Pueblo women produce large quantities of pottery in an endless variety of shapes. This earthenware is decorated with ornaments in white, black or red colors, and then fired."
Language group created by the Astor to cover the pueblo or mesa-dwelling areas of New Mexico and Arizona. Tribes represented in the Pueblo Rooms according to the hotel included the Zuni, the Hopi and the Laguna.
