Many students choose to leave the hustle bustle of London for
day trips in the English countryside or to nearby Cambridge, Oxford,
or Stonehedge while other program participants utilize the three-day
weekends in courageous domestic or international travel to such acclaimed
cities as Edinburgh, Dublin, Paris or Amsterdam. By train, plane, and
even hydrofoil, students find travel to such destinations easy and the
fairly inexpensive. The travel also allows program participants to
catch up on the week's reading or some much needed and deserved sleep:
"Swinging London" keeps its visitors busy and one need not leave London
ever through the program's duration.

Last summer's program participants,
Emory and Sherveta, enjoy a beautiful
day of punting in Cambridge, England.
For a real treat, punt like the British
do with a picmic of champagne and
raspberries douced in cream.
