By looking at the images of Lange, Lee, and Rothstein you will notice the
"future-oriented" nature of their images that I mentioned
earlier, in part three:The
Farm Security Administration
when discussing the type of image that the FSA wanted
to see, to prove that its relief programs were working.
These photographs
are more typical, more "cliche"(if you will).
You should be able to identify the presence of an author in these images;
the photographer's subjective interpretation should be apparent,
whereas in Evans' images it
is not--he is unique because he has abandoned the "cliche."
